"Story of Yanxi Palace (Cantonese)" is produced by Dongyang Huanyu Film and Television Culture Co., Ltd., co-directed by Hui Kaidong and Wen Deguang, starring Wu Jinyan, Qin Lan, Nie Yuan, Charmaine Sheh, Xu Kai, Wang Yuanke, Tan Zhuo, Su Qing, Hong Yao, Wang Guanyi, Lian Lian, Li Chunai, Jiang Zixin, Pan Shiqi, Li Ruoning, Xu Baihui, Li Zonghan and others jointly performed the ancient costume court drama.

The plot revolves around Yingluo, a young court lady. With her courage and wisdom, she resolves the difficulties of the court and finally becomes the filial and pure queen who assisted the prosperity of the Qianlong era.

The story happened in the sixth year of Qianlong. In order to find out the truth about the death of her eldest sister, Wei Yingluo resolutely decided to enter the Forbidden City and become a court lady. After arduous investigation, Yingluo finally confirmed that her sister's death was related to the absurd prince Hong Zhou. In order to get justice, she made up her mind to face everything bravely.

In the Forbidden City, Yingluo met Empress Fucha, who was good at etiquette and gave her warmth and help. Under the queen's careful instruction, Wei Yingluo gradually grew into an upright and strong court lady, who learned to let go of resentment and live a serious life.

However, the empress unfortunately passed away, causing Yingluo to misunderstand Qianlong. From being hostile to each other, the two gradually understood each other and supported each other. In the process of growing up, Yingluo has learned to be broad-minded, and no longer pursues personal self-interest, but hopes to do her part for the country and the people.
