艳之夜

In the movie "Night of Yan", the story takes place in the distant Izu Oshima Island. The protagonist Matsuo Haruji (played by Hiroshi Abe) is far away from the hustle and bustle of urban life, and lives with his lover Yan in this quiet place, as if they are a couple. However, because of his obsession with beauty, Chun Er often shows mercy everywhere, and is finally knocked down by the illness. When he was dying, he took care of this woman who had controlled his life with complicated emotions

In Chun Er's heart, he was full of doubts about Yan's feelings, and in order to find the answer, he embarked on a journey of searching. He successively visited Yan's cousin wife Huanxi (Kyoko Koizumi), office worker Minato Hashimoto (Maho Noami), middle-aged widow Shakiko Hashikawa (Jun Fuki), and Bai Baizi (Yoko Maki) who worked in a beauty salon. During this journey, Chun Er came into contact with their boyfriends, husbands, lovers, and the blurred past with Yan.

Everyone's memories are complicated and confusing. During the visit, Chun Er gradually understood the intricate emotional entanglements between Yan and these men. Their memories and past make it difficult to tell the truth from the fake, and also make those men and women who are trapped in love fall into confusion.
