故事背景发生在安史之乱之后，长安城社会混乱，人心浮动离奇的连环杀人案件频发。有惨遭割舌的学堂夫子，倒插两肋的鹰卫，还有烧成焦炭的青楼女妓，也有被挖掉双眼的骡马夫商每一宗命案都有7天的间隔时间，所有的死者都是心口先被放血，直到血流尽而亡。令人更加恐怖的是，每一次新的凶案在发生时，总有人看到上一个凶案死者出现在新的秀恩爱现场。
