Season 1 is a thriller crime drama directed by Gilles Bannier and starring Vicky McClure, Adrian Lester, Mark Stanley, Warren Brown and Kelly Godliman.

This drama focuses on counter-terrorism policing, mainly about the excellent work of the Metropolitan Police's bomb squad. The story takes place one summer, when a terrorist movement threatens the safety of the capital, and the entire city is in a tense atmosphere. As the threat of terrorists continues to escalate, the bomb disposal team is facing tremendous pressure and challenges. At the same time, the bomb squad not only has to deal with external threats, but also internal teamwork and pressure. Each member is burdened with his own past and mission, and they must unite as one to face numerous tests together.
