英伦对决

British Showdown is a Chinese-UK co-production action thriller from New Zealand director Martin Campbell, featuring Jackie Chan and Piers Bruce South starred. The film was released in mainland China on September 30, 2017. Based on Stephen Lesser's 1992 novel "The Chinese", it tells the story of the tragic death of the daughter of Guan Yuming, a Vietnamese-Chinese living in the UK, in a terrorist attack.

Guan Yuming (played by Jackie Chan) used to be a special soldier who retired from the Vietnam War, but now he opened a small restaurant in Chinatown, London, with his daughter (Liang Peishi decoration) depend on each other. In a terrorist attack, his daughter was unfortunately killed, and the British government's indifference deepened Guan Yuming's grief and indignation. At this time, the key figure Lyme Hannes (Pierce Brosnan) appeared in his vision. Guan Yuming was keenly aware of his previous war experience that Hannes must have information about the terrorist attack in his hands. Therefore, Guan Yuming came to the door several times to ask Hannes to provide clues, but was rejected.

In order to seek justice, Guan Yuming decided to embark on the road of revenge against the terrorist organization alone. For this reason, he rejected the retention of his lover Lin Baoyi (played by Liu Tao). However, what he didn't know was that a big intricate conspiracy was slowly unfolding in front of him.

This is an intense action movie that explores the morality of revenge through a combat-rich storyline. Captivating performances from Jackie Chan and Pierce Brosnan, combined with brilliant directorial skills from Martin Campbell, make for a climactic and visually stunning film.
