"Oblivion" is a story about the city of Lugansk in eastern Ukraine, which has been captured by separatists. The film takes people's lives as the background and shows the far-reaching impact of the conflict in Ukraine. As a Ukrainian language teacher, Nina should be free to teach her mother tongue, but she is forced to learn and teach Russian. This change makes her feel very confused and lost.
