《玉骨遥》是一部由小说改编而成的古装剧，小说的名字叫做《朱颜》，是由著名小说家沧月所写
一个是孤傲清高的空桑世子时影，一个是像小太阳般温暖热情的赤族郡主朱颜，本该是两条毫无交集毫不相干的平行线，但是命运总是降临得那么意外。这性格截然不同的两个人在命运的安排下结成了师徒，并且相知相伴了三年。究其原因，竟是因为一枝花的缘故才促成了这段缘。后来，命运又给他们开了一个大大的玩笑，朱颜竟然用玉骨杀死了时影。原来，是因为时影由于一个误会，认为止渊就是海皇，故将其封印了起来。而止渊是一直陪伴朱颜长大的好伙伴，为了替他报仇，才有了弑师的一幕。当误会解开后，朱颜付出惨痛的代价复活了时影，而后二人齐心协力，联手一起对付真正的敌人。
