本剧改编自CAPCOM所发行的英雄动作游戏，以日本的战国时代为舞台，并融入了很多的恶搞元素
为了实现“天下布武”的局面，一边是魔王用武力和恐怖的政策冷酷地蹂躏着其他国家，另一边是用天下为赌注的名将，两军历来都在合战之地进行决斗。这次他们为了一决雌雄，决定在此地继续开展一场激烈的战斗。另一方面，在川中岛的东侧，向来是对手的另外两位名将也在进行着宣告许久的胜负之战。在那个群雄争霸的时代，那些实力雄厚的武将们都把实现天下霸业作为人生的奋斗目标，整个日本都沉浸在各种大大小小的战役之中。在此时大家收到来报，大魔王被彻底地包围在了川中岛，并在本能寺被心腹大将所刺杀，死后整个国家会再次陷入大乱的困境，战国乱世的局面再度降临。
