"The Piggy Family" is a Hong Kong drama film directed by Huang Huaqi and written by Mak Shunling. It was released on March 1, 1990. The film takes the "Changzhou" police station as the background and describes the boring life of the police officers living in remote areas

The story begins with the brave police officer Sha Zhan "He Jinqiu" accidentally uncovering a drug den. His neighbor "Ren Qianxing" at that time. Ren Qianxing dressed well and behaved chicly, and soon established a good relationship with everyone in Changshuzhou Police Station.

However, no one thought that Ren Qianxing turned out to be a trickster. He saw the acquaintance with the police officers and decided to launch a scam. Ren Qianxing first approached a gambler "Jin Bisheng", told him that he made huge profits by lending usury, and lured him to invest. He pretended to bring Kim Pi-seung a reward, which excited Kim Pi-seung, and then spread the news throughout the police station. The other police officers also asked Ren Qianxing to accept their investment. Ren Qianxing let them try to get the taste of interest first (in fact, they only returned a small part of their investment), and then cleverly increased their investment.

However, He Jinqiu discovered Ren Qianxing's cunning scheme. But before everyone took action against him, Ren Qianxing left proudly and at large. Greed leads to poverty, this is an ancient lesson, although people have been deceived, they can only suffer in silence.

"Pig Clan" takes the game of cunning and desire as the main line, revealing the greedy side of human nature. Through the wonderful plot and vivid character portrayals, the film shows people's endless desires in the face of interests, as well as their helplessness and remorse after being deceived.
